Knox College Prairie Fire

Last week in the Prairie Fire's opening series versus the Central Dutch, O'Connell had a big 2-run home run in the bottom of the 4^th inning of game two. The hit sparked the Prairie Fire to their first win of the 2012 season and earned O’Connell the Prairie Fire Performer of the Week Award.

After O’Connell’s shot, Knox scored four more runs to take a 6-4 lead. When the dust settled, the Fire scored six runs on seven hits, while leaving three men on base.
