Lance Miller, a junior from Mascoutah, Illinois, posted the highest finish by a Knox runner in 92 years, placing second overall with a time of 25:00.86, breaking the school record by nearly 30 seconds and his personal best by almost a full minute. As a team, the Prairie Fire claimed fifth for their best finish in 13 years. Miller earned All-MWC honors for the second straight year, the first Knox runner to qualify for the honor twice since Gabe Moreno ’14 was a three-time recipient from 2011-13.
