Senior Amber Eisha hit and pitched her way into the softball record books during the final home games of her career on April 26 against Illinois College.
Eisha, on Senior Day, was 4-for-8 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored to help the Prairie Fire sweep the Lady Blues for the second straight season. She also earned a victory and a save in the circle.
Eisha set new single-season records with 44 hits and 26 pitching appearances.
A three-time All-Midwest Conference South Division selection, she led the team with a .404 batting average, five home runs, 26 runs scored, 68 total bases, and a .436 on base percentage. Her 26 runs batted in tied for first on the team with junior Kayla Behrens.
In addition, Eisha pitched 118 2/3 innings and tossed 14 complete games. She recorded four wins, one save, and struck out 59 hitters.
