White rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-14 Knox victory against Lawrence University at home on Saturday, September 27. He was named the
Midwest Conference Football Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday, September 29 for his outstanding play.
White got loose for touchdown runs of 21, 47, and 67 yards – and his 11.7 yards per carry average in the game ranks fifth all-time in Knox football history. He also caught a 26-yard pass to top 200 total yards of offense (202) in the win over Lawrence, which marked the second straight for the Prairie Fire on Stisser Field at the Knosher Bowl against Lawrence, and so far this season.
White ranks in the top five in the Midwest Conference in five offensive categories. His 6.7 yards per rushing attempt average leads the league while he’s fourth overall in rushing yards per game (104.3), fourth in rushing touchdowns (4), fifth in total yards rushing (313), and fifth in scoring (26 points/8.7 points per game average).
White has also played a big role in the Prairie Fire’s ranking in the top five in the conference in five offensive categories. Knox leads the MWC in time of possession per game (35:15) and fourth down conversions (4-for-6, 66.7%), ranks third in third down conversions (19-for-43, 44.2%), is tied for fourth in scoring offense (28.3 points per game), and ranks fifth in rushing offense (193.3 yards per game).
