Galesburg, IL - The Prairie Fire will get an extra, unexpected day off before opening the Midwest Conference portion of the season at Illinois College.

Knox was scheduled to play a doubleheader at IC on Saturday, beginning at 12:00 p.m.  However, officials at Illinois College say the baseball diamond won't be playable tomorrow and the games have been moved to Sunday.  The start time for the first game remains 12:00 p.m.

If the diamond at Illinois College is still not ready on Sunday, the games will be moved to Lenz Field in Jacksonville.

The games against the Blueboys kick off the Prairie Fire's Midwest Conference South Division schedule.
