April 28 – Prairie Fire Spring Invitational
Galesburg, IL – Savard again led the Prairie Fire with a 97 in the last event of the 2011-12 women’s golf season.
The low score belonged to Monmouth College’s Lauren DeVolder, who fired an 88. Teammate Nicole Hurst followed with a 95 and Anne Begley tied Savard for third place overall with a 97.
Martin carded a 109 for the Prairie Fire and Price shot 112 at Soangetaha Country Club.

April 27 - Fighting Scots Spring Invitational
Monmouth, IL - Junior Mia Savard (Menifee, CA, Paloma Valley) led the Prairie Fire with a first round score of 100 at Gibson Woods Golf Course.
Savard placed 14th overall on the individual leaderboard. The leader was Morgan Wilkinson of Augustana College, who fired an 88. She finished one stroke up on her teammate Megan Vandersee.
Knox’s two other golfers, junior Monica Price (Rochester, IL, Rochester) and sophomore Sarah Martin (Crown Point, IN, Merrillville), shot a 107 and a 121, respectively.
Augustana College won the team standings after shooting a 365 on Friday, 11 strokes ahead of Monmouth College (376). The only other team in the field, Augustana College B, finished third at 424.
The last event of the spring season for Knox is the Prairie Fire Spring Invitational on Saturday at Soangetaha Country Club.
