OT Loss Concludes Historic Season

LAKE FOREST, Illinois—The Prairie Fire's historic season came to an end after a 1-0 overtime loss to Carroll University in the Midwest Conference Championship.

The Fire played in their first conference championship game in school history, and, after battling the entire game, came up just short in their pursuit of a Midwest Conference Championship. Their 13 wins this season are the most in program history.

Sierra Daniger (Colorado Springs, CO, Air Academy) had another great game, coming up with seven saves, but the last shot of the day proved to be too much. Credit her for keeping the game close under constant pressure from the Carroll offense.
