ROCKFORD, Illinois—The Prairie Fire earned their second straight victory at Rockford on Wednesday night.

Knox (6-2) built up an eight-point lead over the Regents by halftime. The Prairie Fire outscored Rockford 24-8 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.

Jamie Blue (Urbana, IL, University) and Hailey Leinart (Gurnee, IL, Warren Township) shared game-high honors with 22 points apiece.  Leinart was 5-of-10 from beyond the arc. Naja Woods (Minneapolis, MN, Southwest) scored 15 points, while Karlie Thorn (Henderson, NV, Coronado) and Kayla Brown (Roseville, CA, Wilton Christian) added 11 each. Morgan Potter (Huntington Beach, CA, Huntington Beach) grabbed a team-high nine rebounds and put up eight points.

Knox will return to the court on January 2 as they resume conference play against Ripon at home.
