GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire fought valiantly, but came up just short against St. Norbert.
 
Knox (1-12, 0-8 MWC) trailed by as many as 17 points early in the second half after being down by 12 at halftime. The Prairie Fire battled back, outscoring St. Norbert 34-25 in the second half, to finish behind by only three points as time expired.
 
DJ Lewis (Chino Hills, CA, Chino Hills) had a big game for Knox with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Marcellis Davis (Chicago, IL, Curie) added 6 points of his own to go with 4 assists, and Grant Billimack (Metamora, IL, Metamora) had 8 points and 5 rebounds.

Knox will look to get on track in the Midwest Conference when they square up against Illinois College at home on January 20.
