GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire defeated Illinois College 77-63 on Wednesday night.

Knox (8-6, 3-6 MWC) kept pace with the Lady Blues for the first quarter before taking the lead at the end of the quarter. The Prairie Fire never trailed again, leading 36-31 at halftime. Knox expanded their lead to as many as 18 points in the second half.

Jasmine Binion (Davenport, IA, Assumption) paced all scorers with 17 points with Morgan Potter (Huntington Beach, CA, Huntington Beach) adding 12 points of her own. Jamie Blue (Urbana, IL, University) and Karlie Thorn (Henderson, NV, Coronado) each finished with 10 points as well. Blue also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

The Prairie Fire travel to Lawrence on January 23 looking to win their fourth conference game.
