RIPON, Wisconsin—The Prairie Fire dropped their final game of the season at Ripon 69-57 on Saturday.

Knox (12-11, 7-11 MWC) led by six with just under four minutes to play in the first quarter, but trailed by two at the end of the quarter. The Red Hawks pulled away in the second quarter leading 41-27 by halftime. Knox chipped away at the lead in the second half, but failed to gain much ground.

Karlie Thorn (Henderson, NV, Coronado) led the Prairie Fire with 16 points on 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. Hailey Leinart (Gurnee, IL, Warren Township) added 15 points while Jasmine Binion (Davenport, IA, Assumption) scored ten points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. Jamie Blue (Urbana, IL, University) also scored eight points and grabbed six boards.

Knox finished with a winning record and the most wins since the 1996-97 season.
