WAUKESHA, Wisconsin—The Prairie Fire suffered a 76-55 defeat at Carroll on Tuesday night.

Knox (1-19, 0-15 MWC) held the lead for the first seven minutes, but the Pioneers jumped out to a 13-point lead by halftime. The Prairie Fire cut the deficit to single digits in the middle of the second half, but Carroll went on another run to finish the game.

Caylab Herrera (Middletown, DE, Middletown) led Knox with 13 points and two blocked shots. Braden Adams (Mount Vernon, MO, Mount Vernon) added 12 points and Marko Protic (Niles, IL, Maine East) led the Fire with seven rebounds.

Knox will continue their road swing as they travel to St. Norbert on February 13.
