DE PERE, Wisconsin— The men's basketball team fared much better against St. Norbert than their previous matchup, but still could not come out on top. Knox (1-14, 1-9 MWC) had a slow first half at St. Norbert (12-3, 9-1 MWC), only scoring 16 points. However, they found their groove in the second half, doubling their point total.
Deryk Ruple (Kenosha, WI, Indian Trail) led the scoring for the Fire with nine points and three assists.
DJ Lewis (Chino Hills, CA, Chino Hills) and
Jonathan Damota (Miami Springs, FL, Miami Springs) each added eight points.
George Mosialos (Larissa, Greece, Mpakogiannis) led the team with five boards.
The Fire will look to carry their momentum from the second half of this game into their next conference matchup against rival Monmouth College on January 25.
