GALESBURG, Illinois - Down by only four with just under four minutes left to play, the Prairie Fire looked like they were poised to ride their momentum to a comeback victory. However, Ripon was able to stifle the Fire's scoring effort late in the game to preserve their lead. Knox (0-7, 0-4 MWC) ultimately fell to Ripon by a final score of 72-61 in a game that was again much closer than the final score would suggest.
Jacob Kampf put in his best effort to try and bring the Fire a victory, scoring 19 points on the afternoon along with two assists and two steals. DJ Lewis added 10 points and Jonathan Damota threw in eight of his own. Marko Protic contributed five points and six rebounds in the paint for the Fire.
Knox will travel to Watertown, WI to take on Maranatha Baptist on December 11 before heading to California for two games before Christmas.
