GALESBURG, Illinois - The Prairie Fire baseball squad will have to wait at least one extra day to begin their conference season.

A long week of rain has forced a postponement of a doubleheader between Knox and Cornell scheduled for April 1. At this time no makeup date has been announced.

The Rams and the Prairie Fire are scheduled to resume their series on April 2 at Cornell.
