GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire baseball squad fell to MacMurray 12-10 on Sunday afternoon.

Knox (7-7) held a 10-6 lead heading into the top of the ninth inning, but the Highlanders rallied for six runs to take the lead.

Matt McCaffrey (Wilmette, IL) was a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate for the Prairie Fire. He scored two runs and plated another.
Brendan Powers (Bourbonnais, IL) tallied three hits in four at bats with a run scored and two RBI.
Juston Woodard (Oak Lawn, IL) finished 2-for-5 with two runs scored.
Spencer Bauer (Madison, WI) hit a huge three-run homer in the fourth inning to give Knox a 6-5 lead. McCaffrey and
Drake Sykes (Galesburg, IL) each belted triples and
Ryan Weitendorf (New Lenox, IL) clubbed a double.

The Prairie Fire will travel to Eureka on April 12.
