MONMOUTH, Illinois—The Prairie Fire women's soccer team won their sixth straight to move to 3-0 in league play with a 1-0 victory over Monmouth on Saturday.
 
Knox (7-4, 3-0 MWC) scored in the 12^th minute when Alex Robertson found the back of the net and held on with stellar defense to earn the victory. Sierra Daniger notched seven saves on the day in a game when both teams managed seven shots on goal.
 
The Prairie Fire will look to continue their hot streak when they host Illinois Institute of Technology on October 1.
