DE PERE, Wisconsin—The Prairie Fire men's basketball team dropped a conference matchup to St. Norbert 84-42 on Saturday afternoon.
 
Knox (1-6, 0-2 MWC) fell behind early as the Green Knights scored the first 11 points of the game. St. Norbert built up an 18-point lead midway through the first half and led 44-15 by halftime.
 
Blake Godbold hit a pair of treys in the opening minutes of the second half to cut the lead a bit. However the Green Knights quickly regained control and cruised to victory.
 
Goldbold finished the game with 13 points to lead the Prairie Fire. He also grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
 
Knox returns home on December 5 to host Lawrence.
