Knox scored a run in the top of the second inning to take an early lead in game one. They added a pair of runs in both the third and fourth innings to expand their lead. The Prairie Fire scored three more runs in the top of the fifth and held on for an 8-0 victory against New Jersey City University.

The second game saw the Prairie Fire score in each of the first three innings to pull ahead early and take a 3-1 lead. Crown College responded with two runs in the top of the fifth to tie up the game and force extra innings. The Storm scored two runs in the top of the eighth, but Knox battled back with three runs of their own to seal the game for a 6-5 victory.

Katy Coseglia finished with 5 hits and 3 RBI on the day for the Prairie Fire. Mady Ferris, Casey Hipp, Clare Hensley each added four hits for Knox on the day.

Gabbi Diaz picked up a pair of wins in the circle, the first of her career.

Knox returns to action on March 17 for  the Gene Cusic Classic against North Central College and University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
