LAKE FOREST, Illinois - The Prairie Fire Women's Soccer team headed to Lake Forest today to face the Foresters. Knox fell short to Lake Forest in a 3-0 game.

The Fire struggled offensively today and as a unit. The Foresters scored early in the first half and twice in the second. The Prairie Fire held the Foresters after the first goal through the half. The Foresters again scored early in the second forcing the Prairie Fire to remain defensive throughout the game. 

"It was a tough way to end our spring season, but we took this spring as an opportunity to try new things and grow into our team. We are grateful to have had these two games,"" said Head Coach Taylor Houck. "I am excited to see how much we grow as a unit the rest of this spring and next fall."

The Women's Soccer team end their modified spring season 1-1 and return to action next fall.
