RIPON, Wisconsin - The Prairie Fire men's soccer team dropped a Midwest Conference matchup 3-1 at Ripon on Saturday.
The Redhawks found the back of the net first when they scored in the 13th minute.
Alex White put Knox on the board in the 19th minute and the score remained tied 1-1 at halftime.
Ripon added a pair of goals in the final 10 minutes of the game to earn the victory.
Both teams managed 15 total shots, while the Redhawks outshot the Prairie Fire 9-5 in shots on goal.
"We didn't play at our best today and played a man down pretty much the entire second half after we took a red card," said head coach Kevwe Akpore. "We have put ourselves in a tough spot, but the season isn't over and we will put our focus back on winning these final few games and seeing what happens."
Knox returns to action as they travel to Lake Forest on October 22.
