Women's Soccer Plays to Scoreless Tie at Ripon

RIPON, Wisconsin - The Prairie Fire women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw at Ripon on Saturday.

Knox came out with the unlucky tie after dominating the Redhawks with 25 shots, including 17 shots on goal. Ripon managed just six shots, three on goal.

Aleene Ramirez fired off four shots on goal, while Isabella Shubert, Brianna Dietz, Avery Leigh, Ashlynn Lenertz, and Autumn Crow each tallied two shots on goal apiece.

"This might be one of toughest games of the entire year," said head coach Rob Battisson. "We dominated in pretty much every facet of the game and still came away with a tie. It's not the outcome we deserved in this one, but credit to the Ripon keeper with 17 saves."

Knox returns to action as they travel to Lake Forest on October 22.
