GRINNELL, Iowa — A total of 1,543 student-athletes representing nine Midwest Conference (MWC) member institutions and two affiliates were named Academic All-Conference honorees for the 2022-23 academic year, announced Friday.

Knox College had 107 student-athletes named to the Academic All-Conference team.
 
Across the league's eighteen sponsored sports, the list includes 843 men's sports recipients, 700 women's sports participants, and 290 multi-sport athletes.
 
To be recognized as Academic All-Conference, a student-athlete must have satisfied a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.33 for the awarded academic year, letter in any of the league's fall, winter, or spring sports as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior, and compete on a team that completed a minimum 50% of its scheduled contests.
 
MWC Academic All-Conference honorees are announced annually after the conclusion of the posting of spring term grades.
