Ladewig Joins Athletic Training Staff

Tim Ladewig has joined the Knox College Athletics staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Ladewig joins the Prairie Fire after serving as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh athletic department over the last two years. He primarily worked with the football, track and field, and baseball teams for the Titans.

"We are thrilled to have Tim join our team," said Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer Scott Sunderland. "He brings experience as both a player and Athletic Trainer at the Division III level and a real passion for sports medicine that will serve him well when providing care for our student-athletes."

Ladewig also has athletic training experience at Thedacare Orthopedics, Bellin Walk-in Clinic, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Mercy Hospital Emergency Department, Fox Valley Lutheran High School, and Menasha High School.

"There is a lot to be excited about when joining the Knox athletic training staff," said Ladewig. "I am most excited about getting to know the student-athletes and working with them to achieve their goals."

A Ripon College graduate, Ladewig earned a bachelor of science degree in Exercise Science. He then earned a master of science degree in Athletic Training from UW-Oshkosh. Ladewig is certified as an athletic trainer by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NCSA).
