GALESBURG, IL - The Prairie Fire men's soccer team picked up a 3-1 win over Illinois Wesleyan Tuesday afternoon.

The Fire came out hot with three goals within the first ten minutes of play.

Adrian Segura found Sasha Esper quickly with just over one minute in for the first goal of the game. Three minutes later Apostolos Karambepris put another one in with an assist from Arito Nakamichi. Segura scored again for Knox in the ninth minute. 

The Titans managed to score in the 30th minute, but were unable to put any more in the net after that. 

"We had a great start today with a good early lead " said Head Coach Kevwe Akpore. "We fell off a bit as the game went on, but ultimately we were able to hold them off and get ourselves a win today."

The Prairie Fire will travel to Coe College on September 23rd.
