GALESBURG, Ill. — After 25 minutes of action following a 47-minute lightning delay, the weather simply would not cooperate, causing the postponement of the the Midwest Conference softball doubleheader between Illinois College (21-15, 10-2 MWC) and host Knox College (1-28, 1-9 MWC) on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Blues were leading, 7-0, in the top of the second inning when the lightning announced its presence again.

The Prairie Fire will be back on Knox Softball Field on Friday, April 25 when Mount Mary University (3-18) comes to town for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. Both games will be streamed live with stats available on the Knox Athletics website.
