DECORAH, IOWA - The Prairie Fire Cross Country squad took a trip over to Luther College to compete in the All-American Invite on a beautiful fall morning, and Conwell and Ratner set the pace for Knox as they both had top-15 finishes.

The men's meet was a four mile race and the women's was a 5k.

Misha Ratner set a personal record in his race, running a 22:11.4 four mile. His pace was good enough to place 15th in the event. The next Knox finisher in the men's race was Max Lawrence in 52nd. He also broke his best time as he ran a 25:11.6.

Elsie Conwell led the way for Knox in the women's race. Conwell ran her 5k in 20:09.1, just behind her personal best pace of 20:00.3 that she set last week on the Loras College Bob Schultz Invite. At the All-American Invite, she ran her final split in 4:10.5 helping her pass two more runners to get a 10th place finish.

The Prairie Fire will race again this upcoming Friday at the Bradley Intercollegiate Championships in Peoria, Ill.
