Sports Medicine Facilities

Located in the basement of Memorial Gymnasium, the athletic training facility is a multi-functional healthcare site where the staff is focused on the health and well-being of student-athletes.

Knox College and the Athletic Training program provide many resources to handle injuries and/or illnesses suffered by varsity athletes. The Knox Athletic Training Facility is approximately 2,000 square feet and includes some of the latest modalities and equipment used to treat and rehabilitate most injuries that are common to athletics. The facility is staffed daily each academic year by certified athletic trainers for general treatments and rehabilitation. This allows athletes to receive care in a timely manner at no cost, and without leaving campus and losing valuable academic time. During all practices and competitions the facility is staffed with certified athletic trainers and a staff of Knox students. Coverage is also provided for traveling teams by either a certified athletic trainer and/or student staff.
