Played in five games before being sidelined by an injury for the final game … team’s second-leading rusher with 317 yards, gaining 4.4 yards per carry … completed 14-of-25 passes (.560) for 194 yards … made a brief collegiate debut against UChicago, then got the starting nod behind center versus Illinois College … hit on 6-of-9 passes for a season-high 106 yards and ran for 80 more on 28 carries, including a 3-yard touchdown scamper … went 7-of-15 passing the ball for 75 yards and posted his first 100-yard rushing game against Grinnell, piling up 106 yards on 24 carries, one of which was a 4-yard hurdle over the pile into the end zone … came off the bench the following week, completing his only pass for a 13-yard gain and keeping the ball four times for 15 yards and a touchdown … took over quarterbacking duties for the second half at Lawrence and led Knox to a come-from-behind, 35-34 victory by running for 116 yards on just 16 attempts, scoring twice on runs of 10 and 50 yards.
