Britt Myers is in his second stint as a member of the Prairie Fire football coaching staff after coaching for two years the University of West Florida.

Myers spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons with Knox as the Linebackers Coach. He was heavily involved in recruiting many of the current student-athletes on the team, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Myers spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons with the UWF Argonauts as a Graduate Assistant working with the Outside Linebackers, while earning his Master's in Physical Education & Human Performance. In 2017, the UWF program in its 2nd year became the fastest team in NCAA history to make it to the National Championship Game.

Before his first stop at Knox, Myers was the Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach at Lane Tech in Chicago. Under Myers, the team's rushing defense and total defense improved, and two Defensive Backs earned All-Conference honors in his one season as the coordinator. Myers served as the Wide Receivers Coach and Special Teams Coordinator in his first year at Lane Tech.

Myers played Club Baseball at Indiana University for four years and was President of the Club the last two years. He graduated with a double major in Exercise Science and Sport Marketing & Management and a double minor in Coaching and Business. After graduation, Myers coached high school football and travel baseball while also working at the National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA).

Teaching and coaching run in the Myers family genes. Myers' father, Tom, has supplemented a 30+ year career at Lake Forest High School teaching P.E. and serving as the head baseball and football coach by also coaching football at fellow Midwest Conference member school Lake Forest College for more than a decade. His mother, Carol, taught P.E. and coached gymnastics at Deerfield High School for more than 30 years. Myers' brother, Travis, is a guidance counselor and assistant football and baseball coach at Glenbrook South High School.
