Cody Hipp '18 enters his second stint with the Knox College Prairie Fire Football program, after previously working for Knox from 2019-2021.
Hipp returns to his alma mater after spending the 2021 season with Troy University as a Defensive Analyst working with the Inside Linebackers.
Hipp spent 2018 working with the Defensive Line at Maine Maritime. The Mariners defense allowed the fewest points per game since 2007.
Prior to beginning his coaching career, Hipp was a 4-year letter-winner for the Knox College football team. Hipp started in 38 of 40 games in his career at Inside Linebacker. He was a Captain during both the 2016 and 2017 seasons. In 2017, Knox finished with their best record since 2002.
Hipp graduated from Knox in 2018 with a major in Biology and a minor in Business.
Hipp is a native of Crown Point, Indiana.
