Dom Parello, who returned to his alma mater prior to the 2021 season, enters his fifth season for the Knox College Prairie Fire and his fourth as the offensive line coach.

In each of his first three seasons mentoring the offensive line, one of Parello’s student-athletes has earned All-Midwest Conference honors: Charlie Gibbons on the first team in 2022, then Creed Justice on the second team in both 2023 and 2024. His charges up front have allowed Knox to lead the league in rushing in 2022 and rank second in 2024, finishing among the top 25 teams nationally each season.

A 2019 graduate of Knox College, Parello was no stranger to all-conference honors, having received a spot on the All-MWC First Team as an offensive lineman twice during his four-year career.

Parello graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He then went on to be an assistant offensive line coach at Beloit College for one year while obtaining his master’s in sport and recreation business from Cardinal Stritch University.

A proud native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Parello currently resides in Galesburg.
