Krausz had focused exclusively on the wide receivers at Knox College from 2008 to 2011.  Highlights included Clarke Cuthbert’s Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week Award and D3Football Team of the Week performance against Illinois College in 2010.  Cuthbert recorded eight receptions for 242 yards and a touchdown in the game.

From 2006 through 2007, Krausz implemented the Flexbone offense.  Under his tutelage, Knox finished the 2006 season ranked sixth in NCAA Division III in rushing offense.  Knox all-time leading rusher Kevin Megli racked up his best individual rushing season on his way to the record books.  Six offensive players received All-Midwest Conference recognition under Krausz’s watch.

Prior to his arrival at Knox, Krausz spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons at MacMurray College.  In his first season with the Highlanders Krausz mentored first team All-Illini Badger Football Conference and Don Hansen’s Football Gazette third team All-West Region running back Peter Ereg.  He returned for the 2005 season as the wide receivers coach.  Krausz coached two All-Illini Badger Football Conference performers, including the conference’s leading receiver.

Krausz graduated from Knox College in 2003 with a B.A. in secondary education and history.  He began his collegiate career as a quarterback at North Central College in 1999.  He arrived at Knox in 2001 and spent two seasons in the defensive backfield.  While finishing his degree, Krausz was a student assistant in 2003 working primarily with the safeties.

Krausz resides in Galesburg with his wife Jamie ’04 and son Camden.
