Recently announced as the new assistant head coach, the 2018 season will mark Wes Graham's fifth season working with the quarterbacks of the Prairie Fire. He joined the coaching staff in the winter of 2014 after a standout career as a receiver and on special teams for Midwest Conference rival Illinois College.

During his career with the Blueboys, Graham played in every game from 2010 to 2013, including starting all 10 games, catching 40 passes for 556 yards with two touchdowns as part of the 2013 team that went 8-2. Graham's class won a combined 25 games during their time at IC and helped the 2011 squad to their first playoff appearance in school history. His 68 career receptions for 944 yards with four touchdowns contributed to an IC offense that ranked in the top 15 nationally in total offense and points scored.

The Galesburg resident was a true example of a student athlete during his days at Illinois College, where he was named to the Academic All-Midwest Conference team three consecutive years.

When he accepted the position in 2014, he was the fourth member of the Graham family to join the coaching ranks. Following in the footsteps of their father, who was a former head football coach, Wes and his two older brothers Nate and Nick have coached for a combined 23 seasons. Wes' younger brother Grant is a current sophomore wide receiver for the Prairie Fire.

During his tenure at Knox, Graham has coached a four-year starting quarterback that was named to the All-Midwest Conference team and broke nine school records on his way to become the all-time passing leader in Knox College history.
