Dan Jackson joined the Prairie Fire men’s basketball coaching staff in the fall of 2013. He also served as an assistant tennis coach at Knox during the 2014-15 season.
Jackson played all four years for the men’s basketball team at Warren Wilson College, the 2013 USCAA Division II national champions. A guard for the Owls, Jackson averaged double-figure points during the 2012-13 season and 10.5 points during the four-game national tournament.
In addition to his efforts in the classroom and on the court at Warren Wilson College, Jackson worked in the community to assist Habitat for Humanity, MANNA Food Bank of Western North Carolina, and he hosted over a dozen basketball camps.
During his time at Warren Wilson College, Jackson gained physical fitness training from Stronger Team, a renowned sports conditioning organization. While at Knox he has earned his strength and conditioning certification through Bigger, Stronger, Faster.
His responsibilities at Knox include recruiting and game film breakdown and exchange.
