David Jones joined the men’s basketball coaching staff prior to the start of the 2014-15 season following a four-year career on the hardwood at Knox.
Jones played in 91 career games and started 60 of them, including starting assignments in 44 of 46 games his junior and senior seasons. Jones finished his career with 823 points and 489 rebounds, including team-high averages of 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game as a senior. He also shot 58.6 percent from the floor and 79.5 percent from the free throw line for the Prairie Fire during the 2013-14 season.
A native of Denver, Colorado, Jones’s responsibilities on the Knox men’s basketball coaching staff include working with the post players and recruiting.
