Garret Williams joined the Prairie Fire men’s basketball coaching staff in the fall of 2017.
Williams was the head coach for the Galesburg High School freshman team in 2016-17.
A 2011 Galesburg High School graduate, Williams played two years at Lincoln Land Community College before finishing his career at Aurora University.
During his senior season at Galesburg, the team went 25-7 and was ranked as high as 6th in the state in class 3A.
Garret is the nephew of former NBA player, coach, and analyst Doug Collins. His cousin is Chris Collins, the current Northwestern University Head Men's Basketball Coach.
His coaching Responsibilities at Knox will include serving as the JV head coach, recruiting, scouting, and game film breakdown and exchange.
Garret received his B.A. in Business Administration from Aurora University in 2016.
