All-Midwest Conference First Team selection … twice named the MWC Offensive Performer of the Week (consecutive selections) … missed five weeks in the middle of the season with an injury, yet still led the team with 11 goals and ranked fourth in the MWC (first in goals scored per game — 1.0) … averaged 3.36 shots per game (first in MWC) and 1.91 on goal per game (sixth) … also led the loop with 2.09 points per game (23 in 11 games) … first two goals of the season came at Blackburn to help Knox to a 3-2 victory … returned from his absence against Cornell College, sparking the Prairie Fire to four straight wins … scored a hat trick against Beloit to provide all the offense in the 3-0 triumph, leading to his first selection as the
MWC Offensive Player of the Week … added a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win over Monmouth and another hat trick in the 3-2 victory over Lawrence to
claim the weekly award once again … tallied the game-tying goal with about four minutes to play at Ripon, securing a tie and a trip to the MWC Tournament … added one more goal in the MWC semifinals against Illinois College.

Played in 11 games as a rookie, starting nine of the contests … did not score but was third on the team with eight shots on goal.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played soccer Palm Bay Magnet High School … was involved in the National Honors Society … earned student of the week, outstanding senior, player of the year, goal scorer of the year, and best striker of the district … scored 27 goals first season and 29 second season … was top scorer of the district and year ('22-'23).
PERSONAL
Son of Kesnel Dera … has one brother, Kesterling … born on Oct. 16, 2004 … minoring in nursing … enjoys playing soccer, video games, studying, and cooking … plans on professionally playing soccer and becoming a doctor … came to Knox to pursue a higher education while playing the sport he loves.
