Raleigh DeRose joined the Prairie Fire women's soccer coaching staff in the summer of 2014. A Peoria, Illinois native and four-year women's soccer player at Knox, DeRose was a fierce defender on the field. She started 47 of 52 matches played in her career for the Prairie Fire.
"Raleigh is a class act. She led by example over her four-year career here (at Knox)," said head coach Paul Lawrence. "Her potential as an effective recruiter and professionalism made her an ideal candidate. Her experience as a Knox graduate will prove invaluable as we effect change in this program," Lawrence added.
