Fenner, a three-time All-Midwest Conference selection, finished his college career on top when he won the 2014 MWC Men's Golf Championship last week at Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford.

Fenner is the second Knox men's golfer to win a conference title in the past three years, the fifth in the last 10, and 22nd overall.  He came back from six strokes behind after the first round by firing a 75 in round two and matching that score in the final round for a 54-hole total of 228.  Fenner moved within one stroke of the lead after the second round, and wound up winning by four strokes over the runner-up.

The senior concluded the season with a 78.6 average and five top 10 finishes – including two in the top five and one medalist.  His career-low round was 70 (-2) at the Tucson Invitational Games in March of 2012, his sophomore season.
