The Prairie Fire completed a sweep of Lawrence University last weekend.

Senior Jenny Haskell (Murphys, California) continued her strong play in both games.  She led the Fire with a double-double -- 20 points and 10 rebounds to go along with six assists -- in a 66-54 win at Lawrence University Friday night.

The Prairie Fire got off to a strong start, knocking down 6-of-12 shots from three-point range and nearly 50 percent overall in the first half, and took a 38-27 lead at the intermission against the Vikings (0-14, 0-9 MWC).

Knox held Lawrence to 32 percent shooting in the second half and 38 percent for the game while forcing the Vikings into 23 turnovers. 
 
The Prairie Fire also got strong performances from juniors Kelly Ricketts (Galesburg, Illinois) and Abby Owens (Grinnell, Iowa).  Ricketts scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds followed by Owens with a season-high 16 points, including four three-point baskets.
