De Pere, WI – The Prairie Fire played a red-hot St. Norbert College team, which came away with a Midwest Conference victory on its home floor on Saturday.

The Green Knights (21-7, 7-0 MWC) won 3-0: 9-25, 13-25, 16-25.  SNC is on an eight-game winning streak going into the final week of the regular season.

Knox (2-26, 0-7), meanwhile, wants to end the season strong with a match at Monmouth College on Tuesday and a pair of home matches – on Friday against Beloit College and Lake Forest College on Saturday.

Senior Kristin McDonald (Chicago, IL, Regina Dominican) had a good match for the Fire against the Knights with 10 kills, seven digs, and an ace.  Junior Amber Eisha (South Wilmington, IL, Gardner-South Wilmington) added five kills and 11 digs while first-year Casey Stachelski (Joliet, IL, Plainfield) had 22 assists, four digs, and two blocks.
