Galesburg, IL – Knox College’s Memorial Gymnasium will be a busy place this week as the Prairie Fire hosts a seven-team volleyball tournament.

The Prairie Fire Invitational runs Friday, September 21 and Saturday, September 22. 

Two matches will be played at the same time on separate courts beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.  Matches will follow at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

The tournament matches on Saturday are at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.

Knox opens the tournament on Friday at 3:00 p.m. against William Penn University.  The Prairie Fire’s second match is Friday at 7:00 p.m. against Lincoln Christian College.

The schedule on Saturday finds the Prairie Fire taking on MacMurray College at 10:00 a.m. and closing out the tournament with a 2:00 p.m. match against Buena Vista University.

The two other teams in the tournament are Monmouth College and Iowa Wesleyan College.
