Galesburg, IL – The Prairie Fire lost their last match of the regular season 8-1 against Coe College.

The Kohawks (26-0) won all six singles matches and two of three doubles contests against Knox.  Coe is currently ranked #9 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Regional.

Prairie Fire junior Jonathan Ng (Hong Kong, China, Hong Kong International School) and senior David Ham (Lakewood, WA, Shadow Ridge) won their #2 doubles match 8-6, preventing the shutout.

Ham played for the final time at the Merdian Tennis Courts on the Knox campus. 

The Prairie Fire (7-15) travel to Madison, Wisconsin for the Midwest Conference Singles and Doubles Championships on April 27 and April 28.  The tournament will be held at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium at the University of Wisconsin.
