ST PAUL, Minnesota—The Prairie Fire lost to St. Olaf College and Luther College on Saturday to conclude their weekend at the ACM Tournament, hosted by Macalester. Knox (1-7) will play their home opener next on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. against Eureka College.

The Prairie Fire fell 9-25 in the first set before working the second set to a 12-12 tie. Knox trailed 15-18 and 18-22 before falling in the second set 18-25. The Prairie Fire lost the third set 6-25. Sophomore

finished with a team-high five kills. First-year
Rachael Powell (Indianapolis, IN, Lawrence Central)
led Knox with 13 assists, and junior

Knox pulled to within 14-18 in the first set, but Luther reeled off 7 straight scores to win 25-14. The Prairie Fire came up short in the second set, falling 14-25. In the third set, Knox and Luther were tied at 5-5 before the Norse scored 5 straight to go ahead 10-5. The Prairie Fire battled back to a 8-11 deficit, but could not inch any closer, dropping the set 15-25. Powell again led the team with 14 assists. Griffin added eight kills, and Pierro managed nine digs.
