GRINNELL, Iowa—The Prairie Fire fell to conference foe Grinnell on Tuesday night 119-94.

Knox (1-11, 0-7 MWC) kept pace with the Pioneers for about the first 10 minutes, but quickly fell behind to trail 60-42 by halftime. The Prairie Fire made a run early in the second half to cut Grinnell's lead to 10 points, but again could not sustain the momentum.

Caylab Herrera (Middletown, DE, Middletown) led Knox with 19 points and Braden Adams (Mount Vernon, MO, Mount Vernon) tacked on 13. Grant Billimack (Metamora, IL, Metamora), Marcellis Davis (Chicago, IL, Curie), and Deandre Weathersby (Chicago, IL, Kenwood Academy) each added 12 points apiece. Billimack grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds as well.

Knox will return home on January 16 to battle St. Norbert. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
