GALESBURG, Illinois—The Prairie Fire dropped a tough conference matchup against Beloit College on Saturday afternoon.
 
Knox (1-10, 0-6 MWC) dropped another Midwest Conference game getting outscored by 
the Bucs 84-73. Knox never held a lead in the game, the closest the Prairie Fire got in the second half was a nine-point deficit with 17:20 left.
 
Braden Adams (Mount Vernon, MO, Mount Vernon) led the scoring for the Fire with 14 points. 
Marcellis Davis (Chicago, IL, Curie) added 13 points along with 2 steals. 
Caylab Herrera (Middletown, DE, Middletown) scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and 
DJ Lewis (Chino Hills, CA, Chino Hills) dished out 3 assists to go with his 6 points.
The Fire will look to get on track in conference play when they travel to Grinnell College on January 12.
