Women's Soccer Moves to 5-0 in MWC

GRINNELL, Iowa—The Prairie Fire women's soccer team matched their win total from a year ago in a 1-0 defeat of Grinnell on Saturday afternoon.

Knox (13-0-1, 5-0-0 MWC) picked up their 12th shutout of the season despite getting outshot 11-4. Rosie Medina (Carlsbad, CA, Carlsbad) scored just 1:18 into the game and the Prairie Fire defense was able to hold fast for the one point victory.

Sierra Daniger (Colorado Springs, CO, Air Academy) was tested more than usual, but continued her spectacular play in goal earning her 12th win and ninth shutout.

Knox returns home on October 15 to face Lake Forest during homecoming.
