RIPON, Wisconsin—The Prairie Fire women's basketball team dropped a conference game to Ripon on Saturday afternoon.
Knox (3-4, 2-2 MWC) fell behind early and trailed 60-40 at halftime. A second half surge fell short and the Prairie Fire lost 97-84.
Naja Woods (Minneapolis, MN, Southwest) led Knox with 19 points and added four rebounds and four assists.
Jarrelyn McCall (Lonoke, AR, Lonoke) pitched in 14 points and five rebounds and
Hailey Leinart (Gurnee, IL, Warren Township) chipped in 12 points.
Kyra Huffman (Sacramento, CA, St. Francis) grabbed a team-high seven boards to go along with nine points.
Knox travels to California on December 13 and 14 to take on St. Katherine and Caltech.
