Women's Soccer Remains Unbeaten

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin—The Prairie Fire women's soccer team defeated Alverno on Saturday afternoon.
 
Knox (5-0) remains unbeaten and unscored upon this season.
 
Rosie Medina (Carlsbad, CA, Carlsbad) got the scoring started early on an assist from Kayla Brown (Roseville, CA, Wilton Christian) at the 6:43 mark. Brown scored the first of her own two goals just half a minute later. Jessica Petersen (Brooklyn Park, MN, Champlin Park) and Alex Robertson (San Clemente, CA, San Clemente) also found the back of the net for the Prairie Fire.
 
Sierra Daniger (Colorado Springs, CO, Air Academy) earned her third shutout of the season while picking up the win.
 
Knox will take on Lakeland tomorrow to finish out the Alverno Cup Tournament.
